William Is released groovy new song ‘Lizzy I Can’t Lie’
William Steffey, a multidisciplinary artist from Chicago, has taken on the name William Is. When he was 11 years old, his father gave him a Tascam 244 multitrack cassette recorder, which launched his career in music production. After releasing 19 albums and a large number of Art Rock-inspired music videos, he put an end to the 200+ song William Steffey catalog in 2021. William Is has so far released a number of singles, including two NFT remixes that give the buyer complete ownership of the audio files. David Bowie, Steely Dan, and Prefab Sprout are all influences on William Is. He recently made the lovely song ‘Lizzy I Can’t Lie’ available.
