Karen Salicath Jamali’s newest offering, Wings of Gabriel, arrives November 21, 2025, as another luminous chapter in her angelic catalogue, with a dream-born, spiritually attuned piano album guided, as she describes it, by the presence of Archangel Gabriel. Composed entirely through visions received in sleep and recorded in the early morning hours on her Golden Age Steinway, the album continues Jamali’s extraordinary practice of turning the subconscious into sound. Mastered by legendary engineer Maria Triana, the project feels intimate and cosmic, a delicate conduit between earthly emotion and celestial calm.

The album unfolds in three “wings,” each representing a facet of Gabriel’s energy, and Jamali plays with the gentleness of someone receiving messages rather than writing them. The opening track, “Wings of Gabriel, Pt. 1,” emerges with tender rippling phrases, with soft piano layers moving like thin light across water. It’s gentle, elegant, and slow, immediately grounding the listener in Gabriel’s softness and nurturing presence. Later in Wing I, “Angel Gabriel’s Refuge” takes a deeper, more melancholic turn. The low, resonant notes linger heavily while a faint upper layer glimmers, creating a sense of protection tinged with longing, like stepping inside a sanctuary built from memory.
