Wonโt Be Around by Terry Blade: Review
โWonโt Be Aroundโ by Terry Blade balances the soul of blues and the spirit of americana into a neatly compressed melodic package. Thatโs what I immediately felt as the desert blues style acoustic guitar popped up, alongside the vocal remedies from this angelic singer. โWonโt Be Aroundโ, is a fantastic track by Terry Blade, an artist within our spotlight engulfed with heavy blues roots. In addition to having an incredibly moving voice, the instrumental essence of blues and soul comes forth in this brilliant piece.
โWonโt Be Aroundโ by Terry Blade starts off really slow with a hard-as-nails acoustic chord progression. The track immerses you into the atmosphere through a deep vocal presence and it sounds quite passionate indeed. Gotta give it to the singer for such a wholesome voice! Interestingly enough, the overall melody of the track just gives you this lonely vibe, all alone in some part of nowhere. That scene does sound rather dull, but let the trackโs vibe provide a form of comfort otherwise. Pertaining to the blues scale, the guitar and piano pieces have a soft sequence that is stunning, and quite soothing to hear.
As a long-time blues fan myself, I value the music of Robert Johnson, Joe Bonamassa, and the legendary B.B. King. It leaves behind a special imprint that I cherish for many days ahead. So, whenever I hear some fresh act inside the blues biz, it fills me up with an overwhelming sense of joy. โWonโt Be Aroundโ by Terry Blade and the gripping essence of blues is a perfect track to escape to, and drown all your sorrows if need be!
