Yuma Jazz Company release mesmerizing track ‘Some Tequila and a Plan’
Jan. 16 and 17, 2023 saw the recording of ‘Some Tequila and a Plan’ by The Yuma Jazz Company in San Luis, Arizona. On Thursday, February 9 at 6:00 p.m., it was formally released at the group’s performance at the free Village Jazz Series in Yuma, Arizona.
The album ‘Some Tequila and a Plan’, which features trumpeter and composer Steven Hennig’s original compositions, was recorded on January 16 and 17 of 2023 in the border town of San Luis, Arizona. All songs were live in the studio and recorded without isolation or overdubbing in the “old school” style. “In memory of our great friend and bassist Maestro Leo Neblina,” the album’s dedication reads.
