All Must Go by Magna Zero: EP Review
Magna Zeroโs EP โAll Must Goโ is a brilliant mishmash of grunge and alternative rock. Upon hearing it, there was this darkened sensation working up my senses, that was equally empowering and mysterious! Thereโs a gritty essence on the artistโs EP, that is immensely aggressive and a bit cathartic as well.
Opening up with a bass-heavy number (with the same title as the EP), we get a glimpse of Magna Zeroโs melodic strength. The guitars incorporate a bit of echo, but the main kick comes from the bloodline of the track. In this case, the bass guitar and the force of the vocals bring forth a truly raw experience. So far, my favorite bits arose from the bass portions and the teeth-clenching awesomeness of the singer. In โEndureโ a mystical war-like rhythm section comes alive, in the form of reverbed sounds and the gripping tone of distorted riffs.
The EPโs softer and more avant-garde angle is felt in the intro to โWalking to Nowhere.โ Most of the song sounds like a trippy experience through eerie guitar parts and experimental vocal sections. Even if thatโs the case, the more fast-paced transitions in the tune have a powerful build-up and resonance. The singer is absolutely on their game here and unleashes epic screams worth hearing. Exiting the EP with โWe Are Allโ, the tenacity of Magna Zero can be felt. It has intriguing psychedelic rock-style lead guitar parts, and galloping bass lines, all in all, a fantastic melodic drive!
