All of My Days by Battleviews: Album Review
Evoking the spirit of indie folk, Battleviews arrive with their stellar album “All of My Days.” Each number on this collection is brimming with vocal talent and exuberant acoustic chords. Full of charm and flair, the sound of Battleviews pertains to musical bliss and their melodic ethos is for anyone’s taste.
“All of My Days” initiated with a strong presence. Beginning with the electrifying tune of “Home” where a punchy instrumental portion greets us. The track involves subtle vocal progressions, fast-paced strumming, and a truly colorful solo to accompany it all. As soon as the funk train of “In the Dark” came on, my mood was instantly on a more positive note. Something about the tempo and musical structure of this track screamed optimism and thrill. The transitions and overall chord mechanics were catchy and held onto their folksy allure. So far, I’m digging the album’s instrumental synergy, truly impressed by the compositions!
The album’s title track is one of the more mellow ones compared to the other tunes. Covered by a warm segment, the song is a laid-back indie piece that will resonate with your soul. There’s something wholesome when a plethora of instruments join in and the harmonies overflow. The highest form of musical ecstasy, and the track’s crescendo certainly nailed that aspect. Nearing the end of the album, the melancholy of “Dave” hit me hard. The arrangement is quite emotional, where a stringed segment commences and a soothing singer takes the mic.
