Aprylle Dawn released captivating new song ‘Right Where I’m Standing’
This month, singer-songwriter Aprylle Dawn from the San Francisco Bay Area drops her eagerly anticipated fourth album. Original reggae with strong island influences can be found on ‘Find a Little Island’. Like all of her albums, this one was created at Campbell, California’s SoundTek Studios by progressive rock legend Robert Berry (Ambrosia, Greg Kihn Band, Sammy Hagar Band, Emerson Berry & Palmer). On February 25, 2023, this full-length CD is due for release, and it will be accessible on all the top streaming services.
The title of her featured song, ‘Right Where I’m Standing’, is a response to well-meaning fans who give her career advice. Taking on the world alone and on her own terms, Aprylle has established a reputation for enthralling audiences of all sizes. The relatable themes of love, longing, and learning to be true to yourself that run through Aprylle’s autobiographical stories and inspire and enchant everyone who hears them are a big part of what makes her so endearing on stage. She has been compared to Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow for her ability to captivate an audience with nothing more than her voice and an acoustic guitar (and more recently, her ukulele).
