Luca Burgalassi came Back to the Roots with his latest album released by UDB Carousel Records. The Italian musician and singer-songwriter has released this self-made album, Back to the Roots across two countries and continents, US and Italy. As a coming home album, expect to hear a lot of blues, country, rock and folk through artistic expression and deep thoughts.
The first and titular track, “Back to the Roots,” is relaxing as it combines twangy country guitar tunes. The song is upbeat with rhythmic propulsion. The third track and also the album’s single, “Finding Love Again,” acoustically gets you imagining your one true love as Luca Burgalassi duets with Matteo Becucci. Contemplative piano and whimpering, agonizing guitar notes take over Burgalassi’s 6th track, “The Blues and Me.”
Finalized with heavy, receding, and suspenseful bluesy instrumentals in the last song, “The River.” The artist is contemplative and ends the album after provoking thought with his river gushing over his past, which remains unerasable.
Artists like Luca Burgalassi stays true to artistry with his introspective thoughts that revolve around various sub topics explored throughout the ten tracks that he himself hand-crafted from composing to recording. These tracks all have unique melodies. But of course, they are wrapped in layers of warmth.
With electric guitars, drums, violin, harmonica, lap steel, dobro, mandolin, banjo, we have a wholesome homecoming with Luca Burgalassi’s album, Back to the Roots available on Spotify for your free listening.
