Are you a fan of Americana and folk music? Banjolorian by The Trouble Notes featuring the Saxonz is an innovative track mixing traditional folk with classical and tribal dance music, somehow coming out modern in the least conventional way possible. You will find yourself grooving to the urban rhythms blending in with the Americana folk percussion, driving to a contrasting pattern unmatched by anything in this world. Though it sounds light and easy to dance to, Banjolorian pays tribute to the traditions it highlights with the many diverse strings it has employed in the creation process of this track.
โThe Banjolorianโ uses rhythm with the driving beat and banjo melody to create a sense of momentum that propels the song forward. The use of syncopation by the Saxonz in the saxophone parts adds a layer of complexity and interest to the track, creating a dynamic and engaging listening experience.
Violinisn Bennet Cerven says, โGrowing up in the Midwest of America, I was exposed to a wide range of musical influences.โ Yes, I studied classical music, but my music collection was
highlighted by Americana, Rock, and Hip-Hop records.โ He adds that these influences led him to create โBanjolorianโ as the ultimate fruition of his learning and listening.
The single was released on March 3, but it was formulated way back in 2019, when The Trouble Notes was touring in the West. How so? They connected with the folk and hip-hop musicians they performed alongside and found the musical link in their creating a fusion between the two.
