Beautiful lullabies by Pietro Pittari: Review
Pietro Pittari is a classical pianist from Conegliano, Italy. His instrumental prowess is subtle melodic conversations worth hearing over and over. In โBeautiful lullabiesโ an abundance of tracks co-exist in a dreamy musical fashion. Folks, nowโs the time more than ever to sink ourselves in the charming essence of classical music. Iโd be more than welcome to, as the healing aura of this genre, especially Pietroโs playstyle, is a valuable experience to discover.
โItโs a Small Worldโ was originally composed by veteran artists the Sherman Brothers and colorfully depicted in Walt Disneyโs tune. To my surprise hearing this nostalgic tune delightfully recreated by Pietro ignited my inner child and led me down a rabbit hole pertaining to yesteryear. Thereโs a delicate tone in the musicianโs style of play, each note feels integral to the next, and boy is it a joy to hear! Moving on to more deep tracks such as โNew World Lullabyโ made all my worries fade away. This time around, the tone has a lot more space in between, and the melancholic melody is simply marvelous to witness. Immediately after โGoldbergโs Lullabyโ followed, delving in deep with a bit of playfulness within the tuneโs structure was pleasant to hear.
So far, all these collections of songs take me back to the days of my youth. My emotions are quite heavy right now, and it makes me value the lives we all share in this lifetime. As a wee child โRock-a-bye Babyโ was the pinnacle of lullabies, but hearing Pietroโs rendition struck a chord, and a resonant one at that too!
