Welcome to the Hell ft. Neil Taylor, La Strange by nasmore: Review
โWelcome to the Hellโ is a cinematic alternative rock track by nasmore. Featuring the enthralling likes of Neil Taylor and La Strange, the song manages to precisely hit the gripping core of metal and avant-garde-style rock. This is evident from the crunchy guitar pieces and whimsical style of the singing present.
Ever heard a beat drop so deep the bass gave off this shaky almost earthquake-like feeling? Well, fear not, for the epic force of โWelcome to the Hellโ intro captured the essence just right. Eventually, the vocal passages enter with an interesting twist. Not quite following the usual tropes of catchy pop or melodic rock, but more like rebellious poetry through an aggressive tone! The song has a very weighty feel, and it doubles once the drums and guitar riffs roll in. Speaking of guitar riffs, man does this track have a brutal tone to it! Thereโs overdrive, then distortion, and thereโs a wicked level beyond that sounds like absolute war. Also pertaining to an evil tone if anyoneโs a fan of that (I am), the track flows with it, and the instrumentation is truly top-notch.
Nearly 3 minutes in, I was greeted with a face-melting guitar solo. It was reminiscent of Egyptian metal, or at least a similar theme adding to that aspect. Something about that shredding, vibratos, and overall playstyle truly resonated with me, and I kept rewinding to hear it once again.
