The lead single “Best Days” from The Project’s upcoming album of the same name offers a thrilling taste of what’s in store.
Recorded in Arrowhead West Studio in Rancho Cucamonga, California, “Best Days” begins with a powerful drum fill that sets the stage. The song dives in with hazy, driving guitars reminiscent of the Smashing Pumpkins. Seasoned and rich vocals take center stage, singing with assurance and soaring with optimism. The lyrics speak of a profound connection, where the singer’s lover is ever by their side, making every day the best day of their life. The song seamlessly blends the Rush-style breakdowns with the infectious pop hooks akin to Blink-182.
The album would be incomplete without the producer, Dennis Hill(Face to Face, Sammy Hagar, and Montgomery Gentry) and Co-producer and engineer Steven Barnett of Pump5. We also know the mixing and mastering credits go to Mike Troolines( Los Lobos, Ignite, and the Righteous Brothers).
As we await the release of the timeless and irresistibly catchy classic hard rock and pop rock upcoming album, the lead single “Best Days” keeps the energy pumping. We can hope for more single releases keeping us fueled for the remaining months of the year. And when 2024 arrives, it promises to start with a bang as “Best Days” becomes available on all platforms, ready to rock your world once again. Don’t miss out on the musical journey The Project has in store for you.
