Black Clouds by Heroes Fall Last ft. Copperstone: Review
โBlack Cloudsโ is an outstanding collaboration between the vocal tenacity of Copperstone, and the instrumental prowess of Heroes Fall Last. โBlack Cloudsโ is a solid hard rock track with some elements of blues as well. Itโs got gritty guitar riffs that will make you feel like a wanted outlaw, with a taste of for steel and gunpowder. The track is an audio powerhouse and will bring out the inner rock spirit hidden deep in you.
First of all, the guitar arrangement on โBlack Cloudsโ is an absolute beast. Itโs got that โdesert-wild-westโ vibe. Also, the specific tone used on the guitar fits perfectly. Itโs not too distorted, has no excessive bass, perfect treble combination, and is intense as hell. Copperstoneโs voice is sensational, especially the part where he screams. He showed immense skill and range. After that scream, it paved the way for the guitar solo. Which had a classic rock-lick style, and just a groove to listen to. The bass and drum arrangements on the track are heavy and add a deep personality to the track. The artists kept up a formidable form throughout the track and it was sensational.
During the pandemic, the two groups united. โBlack Cloudsโ tells the tale of an inspired gunslinger who was influenced by Stephen Kingโs The Dark Tower books. The Gunslinger feels the burden of his guilt as he continues to kill, and the song describes his internal struggle with this issue. With each passing cloud of guilt, he feels compelled to run further and further away.
