BLOCKS (Radio Edit) by TWO TONNE MACHETE: Review
TWO TONNE MACHETE has a captivating energy about their punk rock music and their song “BLOCKS” channels that very sentiment. The band’s style of melody is like a rush of blood, as they swift through each guitar bit and percussion segment. Apart from that, a high-spirited vocalist commands the mic, and the singer is at the top of their game.
I’ve admired the punk rock genre ever since the early Arctic Monkeys albums, and Green Day’s too in that regard. Something about the genre’s stance appealed to me, I believe it was all about the rebellious nature of each track, which was unapologetic of its opinions and musical grit. Similarly, this message can be heard as clear as day in TWO TONNE MACHETE’s track “BLOCKS.” The reason lies with the band’s raw intensity, especially in their fast-paced rhythms. Their instrumental skill is impressive, bringing along awesome guitar riffs, groovy basslines, and an uplifting drummer. Altogether, the band’s synergy is top-notch, and when the vocalist enters the mix tempo of “BLOCKS” just amplifies.
The music of TWO TONNE MACHETE should bode well with avid fans of punk rock, and even thrash metal. The two genres have an almost similar groove and tempo, which makes it a thrilling experience for rockers on a global scale. So, with that being said folks, I urge you all to hear “BLOCKS”, you won’t be disappointed!
