Carmelsoul Releases Disco-fied Track Till We’re Fallin’
Bertil Limassoul (Producer/Piano) and Lucas Bobrowski, the former of whom plays the piano, met in 2017 while studying at university together, and Carmelsoul was created from their common love of music and consuming pot. Limassoul is now composing while Bobrowski is DJing.
Carmelsoul is influenced by a diverse range of performers from rock, metal, electro-pop, and, of course, house music. Armen Van Helden is the band’s most significant solo artist influence. They often perform in clubs throughout Denmark and Sweden, and they are featured weekly on Radio Metro’s Supernova w/ Delta Juliette.
Carmelsoul is now ranked #6 on Beatport for ‘best new hype dance/electronic release.’ According to one of their earlier evaluations, “with a piano that simultaneously makes me want to cry and dance until I can’t feel my legs” – Ferox (Radio Metro). Till We’re Fallin’ was written and recorded in Copenhagen and Stockholm home studios. The song’s lyrics and production are inspired by taking risks and pushing forward for things that will make you happy even when you’re not sure it’s the right decision in the long run. It’s about pushing on for the things that make you happy regardless of the circumstances, something akin to living in the now. Carmelsoul explain that finishing the track took longer than expected due to airline cancellations and the dynamic duo being apart from home.
