“Chrysalis” by Leonardo Barilaro, the Space Pianist, is a celestial journey captured in notes, a musical metamorphosis that unfolds with ethereal beauty. Five months after the success of ‘ZER0,’ which echoed in the halls of the International Space Station, Barilaro’s piano composition once again ventures into the cosmos. This time, “Chrysalis” takes us on a transformative odyssey, reflecting the profound evolution witnessed in a chrysalis.
The piano keys commence their dance, echoing like water droplets on a tranquil surface. The initial notes create a shimmering effect, peaceful and reflective, akin to witnessing the first signs of life in a cocoon. A rippling wave of piano notes ensues, frolicking and glinting like cosmic stardust. As the melody evolves, a weightier piano joins the symphony, introducing a somber and mature tone to the composition. The energies converge, creating a dynamic and harmonious force that pulses and sways like a ribbon in the cosmic wind.
Endorsing the luxury Italian piano brand Zanta Pianoforti, Leonardo Barilaro has manifested this project to perfection. Thanks to the Zanta ZB200 grand piano recording and its signature refined sound, the song could reach its celestial heights.
The space pianist is planning his technological and spacecraft repairing mission into space, ASTROBEAT, scheduled for late 2024 to launch aboard the International Space Station. With this mission, he also promises to entertain us with new space art.
