CLOUD Releases Fierce Psychedelic Rock Song “Circles”
CLOUD is a psychedelic rock band from Brighton. Consisting of five talented members, Tom Collins (vocals, guitar), Dan Norman (bass), Tom Tollyfield (drums), Alex Rabbitte (vocals, keys), and Charlie Atkinson (Guitar). The band was founded while the members were enrolled at the same university, with Tom and Dan initiating the group as a personal project before recruiting the other members to contribute their individual musical styles.
Since its release in 2021, their debut album has been streamed over 110,000 times. In addition to receiving critical acclaim from music outlets such as Indie Top 39 and Our Sound, the group has also garnered a hefty fan following. “Circles” is the latest song from Cloud takes a completely different path than their debut album. Introduce the audience to our new protagonist, a time traveler who, after falling in love with a woman from an otherworldly timeline, discovers the fatal repercussions of the butterfly effect and is forced to choose between love and avoiding the end of the world.
The band balances the rock movement with subtle ambient pieces, and side-by-side grooves out with a tasty riff arrangement. Pertaining to the genre of psychedelic rock, there’s a very deep resonance with the instrumentation and trippy vocal sequences. At times, the track wants you to relax to the calm atmospheric sections, and other times go nuts by rocking out with the grit and passion of all that is heavy and hard in rock.
