Comatose by Wild Gravity: Review
Wild Gravity magnetizes the whole world at once with their explosive single, Comatose from their EP Initial Transmission. Using rough sounds to express a very optimistic message to rise up against the depressive and gloomy moments of life, Wild Gravity takes us on a ride of complex arrangements from hardcore riffs to super-charged powerful vocals and reverbs. One of the highlighted moments of the track is the well-executed bridge that builds up incredibly just enough to stimulate anticipation, leading us to the explosive chorus striking hard into our heads right away: โDonโt listen to what they say, just go and make your way, make your way.โ
Quotable lyrics:
โDesolation, all seems lost
Dark, weary and cold
Shining bright; the light is there
Overcome; you have to try
Go make your way
Start living for today.โ
Wild Gravity understands from deep of their hearts that there is self-doubt, there is discrimination, and there are people talking behind their back somewhere. But they choose to believe in themselves, and they want to inspire others to be the same. Especially after the pandemic, mental health awareness has been more perceived seriously, and I am more than glad that Wild Gravity did not make them an exception joining the wave today. If you are a die-hard fan of Linkin Park, Wild Gravity is definitely a name to look out for.
