Damanithesun drops fiery new song โFake Loveโ
Damanithesun released his first EP on August 11th, and it has a fresh sound. He drew inspiration for The Lost Tapes, a more eccentric pop punk project, from his upbringing growing up in Denver, Colorado, where he attended Avs games and heard Blink 182 as their anthem, to his elementary school days with his best friend Tanner Morgan blasting Green Day. Two of the three songs on The Lost Tapes, Fake Love and Love or Sin, are more punk-focused with hints of melodic rap and active vocal movements. The third track on the album, Cursed, is an emo rap song reminiscent of Juice Wrld and Lil Peep. In this work, Damanithesun demonstrates his vocal prowess, his distinctive tone and sound that are unmatched by other musicians currently active, as well as his clear originality. In contrast to his previous 13 songs, which are all excellent, this one is a wonderful change of pace.
