Daniel Marchan Jr drops entrancing new track titled ‘Cold As Snow’
The slow ballad “Cold As Snow” talks about how difficult it is to get through the acceptance stage of grief after a relationship ends. Your heart still belonged to the person who is no longer a part of your life, despite the fact that your mind is aware that there is no turning back the hands of time. As a result, there is still a difficult battle between your mind and your heart.
The inspiration came from personal struggles they had gone through prior to the pandemic, and in Miami, Enri Costa and Daniel Marchan Jr worked on a rough draft of the song. Later on, he got to know classmate Amine Abid, who had gone through similar things to what Daniel Marchan Jr wrote about in the song.
They decided to collaborate on the demo for a class because they felt connected to the theme. The professor and other fellow students were pleasantly surprised by how well it was received.
