Death Trap by Joshua Ketchmark: Review
The first verse song starts with a very warm guitar plucking with a whisper-like voice of the singer and then the synth starts hitting up the beat.
“So, give it all you got, try and take me apart…. dressed in black, I am in a death Trap”
The uncertainty of life– the worldly life gives us traumas and troubles in every step we take. It just keeps making some of us stronger to deal with the next big battle. But it is not that easy for a lot out there. The singer in this song connects and blends in with the minds and hearts of each of his listeners. The slower tempo keeps it very soothing. This is that song we could want to listen to after a bad day when we are tired. Probably switch off the lights, close our eyes, put on the headphones, and connect closely to the singer’s voice. Maybe he is trying to talk to us. Maybe he is trying to make us feel alive. Or maybe he is giving us a bit of a reality check. The most soothing fact about this song is that is very simple with the use of minimal instruments. The guitar plucking and whisper-like vocal carried the whole song to the depth of our hearts. Death Trap by Joshua Ketchmark surely is a song that can heal our hearts.
