Deep As Bones drops fiery new single โSpunโ
Christian hard rock band Deep As Bones has released a music video for their single โSpunโ, which touches on breaking free from the strong hold the disease of addiction has and being on the road to recovery and sobriety. The video depicts the journey from imprisonment and addiction to redemption, sobriety, and righteous living.
One of the songs off the self-titled album that was written while the writers were in prison is โSpunโ, which illustrates oneโs inner dialogue when battling addiction and has a massive, arena sound, powerful, piercing, distinct, melodic vocals, paired with impeccable, versatile musicians and raw, meaningful lyrics.
The theme of the music video is overcoming the demons of addiction. Frontman Rodney Scott Pieres plays himself against the inner demons he had to conquer in order to maintain long-term sobriety.
The bandโs name was created by Rodney Scott Pieres to honor his Christian heritage, as โGodโs message penetrates as deeply as bones.โ
