Didnβt See It Coming by Salt Ashes: Review
The song βDidnβt See It Comingβ by Salt Ashes is a tight dance-off sensation. Itβs a true privilege whenever I get to hear such wildly talented and elegant singers. Veiga Sanchez, better known as Salt Ashes, is a vocalist from Brighton who currently resides in London and is the vocal powerhouse behind βDidnβt See It Comingβ.
After a great EDM-fueled start with some synthwave components, the song launches into a total vibe. It has a powerful low-end bass and some dope beat drops. Eventually, the track has atmospheric effects that initiate, and a descending electronic riff can be heard in the background. I gotta say fam, the opening chords immediately triggered an enthusiastic response in me, thatβs how you make a first impression from the get-go! The vocalist has a beautiful, melodious voice with an incredible range and vibrato. Given that the song is an amalgam of EDM and Pop, her singing fits in perfectly with the arrangement. As far as Iβm concerned, this song has all it takes to become a massive hit.
Just about every part of the song has a nice rhythm to it. Instinctively, I wanted to stand up and dance. During the second verse, a bass guitar pattern is introduced, adding a funky undercurrent to the track. If only I had written this, Iβd feel like a real songwriter! βDidnβt See It Coming,β is fantastic in every sense, and I plan to play it on repeat for the foreseeable future. The chord progressions and harmonies of the singers are just excellent. The bass picks up at the end of the song, and the synth seems to float into your ears. To put it simply, itβs excellent. Youβll become just as enamored with the tune as I am.
