Winnipeg’s CAR287 return with “End Of The Day,” the first single from an upcoming five-song EP following their 2025 debut album, Looking Through The Lens. Recorded at Winnipeg’s CTRL Space Records, the track takes a simple feeling — finding the person you genuinely want beside you — and turns it into an energetic, dance-ready burst of affection. The song wears its heart openly and would rather make you move than overthink the moment.
The track immediately gets its momentum from bustling beats that thump hard beneath catchy, chiming guitars. There is a bright infectiousness to the arrangement, with cool keyboard touches adding another layer to the band’s upbeat sound. Over it all, the singer with his husky voice soars with energy and excitement, giving the romantic sentiment a sense of genuine exhilaration. The performance pushes the emotion outward, making the feeling contagious.
