Ether Swamp by Disco Dreams: Review

‘Ether Swamp’ by Disco Dreams is a digital knockout. Its synthesizer arrangements and beat structures made my mind spiral into a trippy atmosphere. Here, I felt my surroundings slightly muted, my senses fade away, and the essence of melody resonate throughout my ears.

Northeast Ohio is home to electronic music producer Disco Dreams. He combines tracks with his ethereal voice to create a psychedelic dance feel. No matter what mood he’s going for, it’s an exciting and heartfelt journey. His goal is to inspire others via his music and encourage them to enjoy the present moment without worrying about the future. That’s quite a high-spirited notion indeed. It’s a way of life everyone should aspire to, especially when things look a bit sour on our end.

The song’s structure is rhythmic, with some transitions here and there. It goes from stationary to zestful in a matter of minutes. It’s quite refreshing to hear, this is because being a completely instrumental track, they found a cool little way of including some mysterious vocals! Personally, the song made me feel as if it was a video game soundtrack. As a gamer myself, I can’t help but relate to this, at the same time feel extremely nostalgic. Do you know those 2-D platformer games of the golden ages? Yup, for some reason the digital vibes from ‘Ether Swamp’ made me feel I was battling some goons on a challenging level. Hah! Nevertheless, great work Disco Dreams!
