Award-winning Vancouver-based, England-born rock artist Charlie PS releases her latest EP, Even If It Kills Me this October 27. In this EP, PS brings to you her 3-year-long transformation encapsulated in 5 tracks.
Leading the charge is the EP’s title track, “Even If It Kills Me.” Released as the second single, it’s a dynamic anthem with catchy riffs, rhythmic drumming, and Charlie PS’s deep, luscious vocals. The chorus lets the thrill chasers of us know that we can live out our youth each day without regrets.
The EP’s final single, “Down to the Devil,” takes a sultrier tone with Charlie PS exploring the lower range of her thick voice. Meanwhile, the deeper groove and driven instrumentals vibe along.
Closing the EP is the extremely catchy and anthemic “Slow Burn.” With thumping beats and unapologetic resilience, Charlie PS expresses her frustrations with the monopolistic music industry that prioritizes social media presence over musical quality. The artist ingeniously trumps the industry with her powerful statement of artistic independence.
In this EP, Charlie PS shares a piece of her journey with the raw authenticity of her rock sound. Nominated as Artist of the Year at the 2019 Kootenay Music Awards and featured in multiple playlists and radio for her 2021 hit, Ghost of You,” Charlie PS continues to rise as a star, leaving her mark on the rock scene. So, embrace the rock spirit, with Charlie PS and her EP, Even If It Kills Me for an unfiltered and energetic musical experience.
