Ez$Boi Releases ‘Sleeping Giant Pt. 1’ EP

Ez$Boi is back and better than ever with ‘Sleeping Giant Pt. 1’, the first of the brand-new EP collection. The rapper has worked with Hunco Beats to deliver this five-track trap project and is excited for listeners to hear the leveled-up material. Ez$Boi kicks off ‘Sleeping Giant Pt.1’ with his celebratory opener ‘Graduated’, coming through with wordplays, similes, and an easygoing swagger that continues throughout the project.

In ‘Colj’, ‘Play My Feels’, and ‘Girl Friend’, Ez$Boi delves into his own relationship experiences. There’s an interesting polarity between these tracks, as he switches from a player type of energy to a more vulnerable “are you gonna keep it real or play with my feelings?” attitude. Track 4, ‘Where U From’, is a standout track for its cinematic instrumental, flow switch-up, and memorable lyrics like “I refuse to be another statistic or victim to this system” and “I surrender, but I won’t quit.” Standing at just part one of the ‘Sleeping Giant’ collection, the project shows stacks of potential and character from the rapper.
