Falling by ELEKTRIC ANIMALS: Review
Elektrik Animals brings back heavy distorted guitars and hard rock grooves to their EP with their single Falling.
Falling is the third song of their latest EP Channels. This heavy, aggressive guitar-driven song highlights the beat in a true rock n roll fashion. The whole song is built around this mean, heavy, high-voltage guitar riff and it gets really loud really quick. The band’s drummer and producer Eric Everhart explaining how he got this sound said, “We were going for a tape saturated, overdriven preamp sound in everything for ‘Falling’. Mostly seeing what we could do with almost no reverb on anything.” As a result of that, we got this absolute bombshell of a song.
Besides the riff, the song has this killer anthemic chorus that takes the song’s crescendo to new heights. It sends a wild burst of energy through the listener’s body that just gets the blood pumping. If you were looking for the true spirit of rock n roll, a mean, high-energy tune to headbang to, look no further, you have come across the perfect song. You can also check out the rest of their catalog. Reckless is another song that you might like.
