Feel Love by Sano Hill: Review
Galway (Ireland) based musician Sano Hill has a funky and emotional tale to tell in his track “Feel Love.” Gripping with a melodic presence of blues, jazz, and a subtle bit of reggae too, Sano Hill blends excellent atmospheric pieces for a delightful outcome.
My heartfelt appreciation goes out to the guitar sequences of the track, they were top-notch. Incorporating licks, catchy riffs, and a gritty blues solo to complete the vibe, the electric guitar takes on “Feel Love” was lovely. Another flavorful inclusion was the organ. Hearing it made me think about the gospel, and just a funky jam breaking out at church. Once the striking elements of the distorted riffs come on, the song changes its pace a bit and the singer goes into a bit of an uplifting segment. Old school U2 was the sound I thought about the most while hearing Sano’s stellar track. The vibes are similar, but overall Sano’s composition stands on its own as a wonderful blues and jazz-inspired tune.
The singer’s style feels like they’re crying their heart out. This contributes to the style of singing, and the passion is indeed strong in this one. Nearing the end of the track, the instrumental portion initiates to fade into a mysterious daze, which was refreshing to hear. By doing so, it added a bit of character by exiting the melody. Sometimes, that’s required to make the audience feel like they’re saying goodbye, and Sano Hill’s style was spot-on in that regard.
