Feel Your Feelings โ Side A by 7000apart: EP Review
Amelie Eiding and Jon Kresin form 7000apart, and comfort our souls with the sweet ambiance of their EP โFeel Your Feelings โ Side Aโ. Adding a fresh coat of paint to the indie genre, the couple truly displays a heartfelt performance through 6 gripping tracks.
Opening with the song โStand Togetherโ, the singerโs allure is enchanting, and her clean tone compliments the flavorful guitar bits. Thereโs an exciting blend of synths and percussion which add a bit of flair and innate catchiness. The rhythm section is beautiful and deserves a respectable amount of praise. The EP moved forward to more dramatic and emotive numbers such as โHopeโ, which gave me a vibe full of tragedy and orchestral pop. Here, the vocalist poured her heart into each aspect of the lyrics. Especially the parts where the word โhopeโ was sung. In this track, the instrumentation was immensely elegant. Conjuring up magical pieces with the piano, violin, and just a remarkable blend of symphonies!
โFeel Your Feelings โ Side Aโ arrived on a subtle and pop-driven atmosphere in โWhole Lot Left to Loseโ. The tune is a cheerful one filled with a playful whistling section and catchy rhythm pieces as the chorus. Finishing off the EP with โEnd of the Tunnelโ felt quite relaxing. The singerโs allure just keeps rising, and with the addition of the piano section and a bit of cello, I was hooked. For some reason, this last piece felt like a perfect soundtrack for every journeyman out in the universe or a modern nomad who felt heartbreak in their lifetime.
