Final Show by Paul Vinson: Review
Paul Vinson is the band’s songwriter and lead singer. In addition, the band also features these talented individuals – Noah Pope on drums, Carter Hartley on guitars, Conner Rogers on keyboards/synthesizer, Jack Filipovic on bass, and Summer Pittman on harmonies. Their song ‘Final Show’ has a jumpy rhythm section that makes you wanna dance, and vocals that will enlighten you.
‘Final Show’ is a beautiful ode for the hopeless romantic. The song is energetic and filled with sensational guitar rhythm sections. My favorite part is the chorus, and that LIT guitar solo. Something about the tone of the electric guitar doing the solo, especially the build-up to it, was simply remarkable. Each note on the guitar felt like magic, and catchy too. The entire song is truly magnificent, as there are elements of Pop-Rock and classic heartwarming music. I’ve been listening to the track on repeat for a while now. Also, the song’s exit was pretty cool, the fading synth at the end gave me some 80s vibes.
The song’s lyrics reveal that Paul fell in love with his future partner when she was still seeing someone else, but that they were destined to be together. As you hear Paul’s voice sing through the muted guitar and other accompanying instruments, you could feel his feelings being poured out. His singing style is very poetic and has a pleasant rhythm to it. The chorus is very energetic, and Paul’s voice takes on a higher scale that adds to the intensity of that arrangement. Overall, a lovely song especially for your dearest ones!
