In a press release, vocalist Cristian Machado states, “With ‘Find My Way,’ we wanted to defy all the formulaic norms on this one.” “[We] pushed the limits and went to extremes.” Finally, we understood how satisfying it was to combine such disparate musical parts into a single tune. It’s also a fantastic hard music with a great haunting melody. It seems like it was made for Tatiana’s voice from the start. It’s incredible that she ended up on the racetrack. Her voice is incredibly wonderful, and having her on is a big honor.
He says, “Lyrically, the song rides the line between dread, submission, and the will to overcome.” “I felt pinned by so many things going wrong in my life when I was composing the album.” I recall holding on to hope and faith for as long as I could until I found a safe place to surrender. A place where I might gradually release the weight and become unfettered. The drive to overcome, the strength to perceive the beauty in an unforgiving world, is a common subject that runs throughout the record.”
