Finding Our Way Back by Ludlow Creek: Review
From performing as the cover band Southbound to finally establishing their own sound while still upholding their strong bonds of friendship, the Ohio-native five-piece band has come a long way together. The band is now rebranded as Ludlow Creek, and they have just released their third single, โFinding Our Way Back,โ from their latest album, โWhich Way Is Forward.โ
Known for their ability to create music that has been regarded as โmodern classic rock,โ โFinding Our Way Backโ has some Americana and country influences, from a little country twang in the singing to the rustic, storytelling lyrics. The playful piano, on the other hand, delivers some bluesy, funky sensations as well. The marriage of the past-paced, full-band backdrop and the uplifting message puts listeners in a pleasant mood throughout. Whether playing an instrument or harmonizing their vocals, everyone makes such a joyful and endearing sound. It must have been a fantastic feeling to be able to do what you love with the people you love. This song is perhaps a toast to their devoted relationship, to our chosen families, to those who support us and stand by us no matter what.
Quotable lyrics:
โWe were kids and we didnโt fit nowhere
We had a band
Played for nothing to be together
We never had a plan
And in those moments
You learned what youโve gotโ
โFinding Our Way Backโ is an easy highlight in any playlist to sing and dance to. We recommend you give it a try and tell us how you feel.
