First Contact by Radio Vision: Review
Experimental indie music is a joy to hear. So, upon hearing “First Contact” by Radio Vision, I immediately felt the need to close my eyes and take in all the creative elements at work. It’s an incredible track with layers of ambient, shoegaze, psychedelic, and a bit of rock mixed in. Which is where its experimental and diverse nature arises. Altogether, Radio Vision composed a fantastic tune for peeps seeking something fresh and exciting.
The melody of “First Contact” enters with a smooth bassline and groovy drum piece that invites us into its cadence. Eventually, when the vocals enter, and trippy guitars roll in, the aura of psychedelia is felt, and boy does it pull you in. Captivating and authentic, Radio Vision’s sound is a jam from start to finish, and as a loyal fan of their choice of genre, I find peace listening to their music. I mean who wouldn’t, right? Just one minute in their ambiance, and you’ll be wishing to have heard it sooner, way sooner. This feeling is brought on by the music’s intensity and mood, it takes you by surprise and eases you into the harmony. That’s a strong feature to have in any track and undoubtedly makes the experience all the more worthwhile.
The vastness of the indie genre is what excites me the most about the music biz. Its multi-faceted connection with other genres impresses me, and I’m glad Radio Vision’s presence is felt along those lines. Thus, I’d highly advise everyone to go check out “First Contact!”
