“Fonte” is an electronic journey into the depths of our minds. This futuristic odyssey is crafted by visionary musician Adhoc and is a stellar experience to undertake. “Fonte” is composed in a progressive format with plenty of ambient synth textures. The transitions and overall vibe are pretty catchy to grasp, and I’m sure all fans of the aforementioned genre will be overjoyed.
Adhoc reaches out for our hand, and we welcome the musician’s invitation onto the scene. His company is filled with enriching melodies that are equally powerful and resonant. Thus, while hearing “Fonte,” I was pleasantly moved. The song is a little over seven and a half minutes long and is a thrilling encounter of sound. It starts with an interesting East-Asian-style arpeggio and then proceeds into a light bass arrangement. The instrument’s tone and feel are quite relaxed. Afterward, it continues and then transitions onto a dramatic synth bit. Eventually, a heavier segment begins, and tensions start to rise. The music takes a turn and expands into a larger synthesizer format. And then the crescendo hits. The transition is stunning and immerses you completely. The timbre absorbs your spirit like water splashing after you dive off a cliff into an ocean.
Progressive electronic music is a delightful genre to come back to from time to time. Thus, I’m truly glad artists like Adhoc continue to push the boundaries of this genre through their evocative number “Fonte.”
