Fritz Kahn and The Miracles make their musical comeback with the stirring new song โMy Baby Starโ after a protracted hiatus.
The songโs producer (and pianist), Tiago Machado, oversaw the recording of โMy Baby Starโ at Namouche Estudios in Lisbon. The Portuguese duo worked hard to support the album with sound production and creative direction, letting Serrasโs stirring voice take center stage. Serras says โMachado transformed Fritz Kahn and The Miraclesโ music into something truly special.โ
The Portuguese musician attributes โMy Baby Starโ to all of the American popular music he has ever heard. He compares the tranquil atmosphere he creates for this track to that of Judy Garlandโs performance of โSomewhere over the Rainbowโ from โThe Wizard of Ozโ, citing the works of Irving Berlin and Jerome Kern in the process.
