Born in Mersin, Turkey, and driven by a lifelong passion for music, Furkan was imprisoned and exiled due to his political views. After years of hardship—including solitary confinement, escape, and time in a refugee camp—he finally found stability in Estonia. There, he rebuilt his life and his sound, making “Hide Nothing” his first major release in over six years.
Dane Maxwell brings his own unique journey. A former tech entrepreneur turned musician, he left a multimillion-dollar SaaS business behind to pursue songwriting full-time. His original acoustic version of “Hide Nothing” was intimate and quiet—Furkan’s reimagining infused it with energy, urgency, and an electronic heartbeat that elevated the message to global scale.
