Galaxies by KINO: Review
Anthony La Corte is KINO an astounding electronic artist who creates deep trance melodies. Ambient and trap beats blend together in a tasty mix to form KINO’s track “Galaxies.” It truly is a space-like tune filled with subtle guitar notes and atmospheric effects tagging along.
KINO’s progression mechanics are electronica fused in with psychedelic trance. In its entirety, “Galaxies” feels like the perfect track to unwind to. With a soothing synthesizer rhythm section accompanying minimal vocals, the song is ideal for anyone wishing to enter a deep meditative state and catch up on some much-needed R&R. The guitar segments are looped and the arrangement was kept fairly straightforward. By doing so, the song completely dives into its hook with no diversion, just utter musical bliss. Hearing “Galaxies” on repeat made me realize its strong ties with the LoFi genre as well. Undoubtedly a favored category, several all-nighters were spent just gazing at the night sky while soulful LoFi melodies graced my ears. Similarly, the beat structure and guitar accompaniment of KINO’s song played homage to the aforementioned genre. With that being said folks, you can absolutely grasp how delighted that makes me feel.
Anthony’s take on the electronica realm was indeed an experience to undertake. The artist’s ideas and compositional understanding were lovely to hear. “Galaxies” is a solid track that takes you on a mysterious digital trip, and KINO guides the way with cosmic synths and beats.
