Wotts are a talented musical act creating fantastic indie pop tunes. Their track “garden” is full of melodic textures that are equally soothing and groovy. From gentle rhythms to funky vocal sections, the arrangements are top notch and will entertain you from start to finish.
The opening verse got my attention instantly. A stellar percussion sequence initiates the cadence while soft synths accompany it. Aside from that, a poetic vocalist joins the hymn and keeps the momentum going. The tempo has a nice pace and makes hearing the track quite natural. This is one of the best aspects of “garden.” So, not only does it conform to the more satisfying attributes of indie pop, its harmony is easy-listening at its best. So, nothing really feels out of place. The mood is just right and the audience can relax while experiencing the song to its fullest extent.
The rhythmic facets of “garden” has an interesting guitar segment that mixes excellently with the soft synths and upbeat percussions. It’s a combination of math rock guitar chords and vintage indie pop tones. So expect a glossy texture that’s gonna knock your socks off. That being said ladies and gents, don’t miss out on Wotts’ stunning track. It’s a magnificent melody crafted exploring the depths of the indie genre, and something special for all fans of this category!
