Chloé Sautereau, the talented singer-songwriter hailing from Switzerland, presents her latest single, “Get to Know You Game,” as a refreshing take on the complexities of romance in the age of technology.
With Amy Allen, FINNEAS, and Julia Michaels as her muses, Sautereau hones in on her own genre infused with pop, folk, rock and other characteristics. Also like Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones, she tends to lean towards a vulnerable transparency.
“Get to Know You Game” explores the struggles and frustrations of navigating the world of dating apps and the perpetual search for a genuine connection.
The song’s calming energy helps you get in the mood to listen to Sautereau with concentration.
With Sautereau’s stable vocals and soft guitar work, her rawness flashes contradictorility to the lyrical context of losing oneself in the world of fakers. Emphasizing the emotional weight of the lyrics and the authenticity of her performance, the track was expertly produced and arranged in collaboration with Luke Girzadas and Emma Wellons. The recording took place at Corner Store Studios in New York under the guidance of engineer CJ Colon. The final mix and mastering by Harry Burr bring the song to its full sonic potential.
I am excited for the upcoming music video and wonder what could Chloé Sautereau bring to enhance her storytelling in both visual and aural dimensions. With more aspect to the track, we will have more than a bird’s view into her creative process. So, listen to “Get to Know You Game” by Chloé Sautereau until she drops the video.
