Gimme a Taste by Juliet Lyons and Chris Wirsig: Review

Juliet Lyons collabs one more time in her single “Gimme a Taste” with LA-based composer Chris Wirsig, which is probably one of the most distinctive sounds you’ve come across in new age music! Lyon’s voice is so wonderful and flexible, that it fits perfectly with any genre of song. Upon listening to this number, she proved that she absolutely understood and aced the assignment. If this is your first time listening to her, you wouldn’t believe how diverse the artist is – she’s even performed in healing music for a Yoga playlist and you might have even caught a glimpse of her vocals in Disney’s live-action “Cinderella”!

Now coming back to “Gimme a Taste”, you can hear the charming Juliet Lyons over Wirsig’s surreal composition. Coincidentally, Wirsig has also been known to intrigue crowds with his daring explorations of the piano and across other instruments like the saxophone. He can too, fit into any box, whether it’s dark and edgy or pop and trendy like “Gimme a Taste”. The song is a catchy vibe, especially around the chorus, with peculiar lyrics sung excellently by Lyons and her many layered vocals. It will wash over a wave of instant confidence in you and have you bobbing your head from the very first second!
