Guala’s latest single, “Gone Since November”, dropped on August 8, 2025, and it’s already buzzing with the energy to set dance floors on fire. Born from a beat crafted back in May 2022 by producer Ajna Music, the track was left in the vault until the perfect artist came along. Enter Guala, a UK-based Latino from Ecuador, who stumbled into the project through an Instagram DM nearly three years later. The timing couldn’t have been sweeter, while vacationing in Colombia with family in December 2024, Guala heard the beat and, in a burst of inspiration, wrote the lyrics in just 48 hours. By March 2025, he was in Pirate Studios, Hackney, laying down vocals with producer Tempo Music, and from there Ajna’s meticulous mixing gave the track its final sheen.
So now it turned out to be this Latin reggaeton dancehall heater with layers of bounce and bite. Right from the jump, “Gone Since November” pulls you in with its high-pitched electronic backdrop that threads through the entire rhythm with its wailing pulses. Then come the thunderous reggaeton drums and a sub-bass pulse you can feel in your chest, making the whole thing irresistibly club-ready. And when Guala’s fast, sharp, clean vocal slices through, there’s no mistaking his command of the beat. Every word lands crisp, like a rapper who knows his craft inside out, and together the production and flow feel like a seamless dance between urgency and smoothness.
You can hear the fingerprints of influences like Tainy, Rayan Castro, and Sean Paul, yet the track stays distinctly Guala, rooted in his Latin American heritage, polished by years of hustling in the UK scene, and built to empower and energize. Listen to “Gone Since November” on Spotify.
