Gus McKay released breathtaking new song ‘Less is more’

The debut of ‘Sixth Wind’ is proudly announced by RPM. Gus McKay, a singer-songwriter, is being honored. His truly authentic and unique fusion of Australiana, roots music, and blues has been recorded and promoted for 21 years. His sixth album is titled ‘Sixth Wind’.
Having met owner and musician Dave Formula ex-Magazine/Visage, and recording for the first time abroad. Prior to the global pandemic, plans were made earlier this year (2019) to visit Louth and Lincolnshire in the UK and record in October and November of that year. Eleven Gus-penned original songs are included. Only one song (Jittery) out of the eleven was co-written with South Australian author Andrew Cooper. The album contains observable influences that are fully dusted and windblown, distilled or burned into existence in the Western Australian Outback. They include ZZ Top, Nick Cave, Little Feat, Captain Beefheart, and Nick Cave. In terms of the recording, ‘Sixth Wind’ is back with a stronger Rhythm section, Bass/Double Bass, and Drums/Percussion style. keys, horns, and slide guitar are also added. Additionally, it features the catchy song ‘Less is more’.
