“Hard Times” was performed and written by Cris Mantello, he is a country and honky tonk based genre artist. His sound gives the vibe of 50s and 60s era sound. And the meaningful lyrics make it all different.

The song “Hard Times” starts with a slide guitar and then transitions into blues rock and country overdriven choppy riff. The guitar riff sounds a lot like a Lynyrd Skynyrd type sound, and the sound of steel guitar and mandolin gives the song a flavorful flavor.
