Hello 2 You by aliensdontringdoorbells: Review
The pop-rock band aliensdontringdoorbells, with members based in the Bahamas, the United Kingdom, and Spain, creates songs that are a mashup of jazz, progressive rock, and swing. Their new single entitled “Hello 2 You” is a funk-induced, jazz-filled energetic track. The band aliensdontringdoorbells (which by the way is such a killer unique name for a group) blends together an excellent arrangement of groovy bass lines, explosive guitar riffs, catchy organs, and bright voices to make their song “Hello 2 You” shine on through.
The track starts off with a clean guitar riff followed by vocals and a bass line sent straight from funk town. All aboard the groove train ladies and gents, let me take your tickets for our upcoming destination – Rhythm Nation, a paradise where aliensdontringdoorbells rules all! There’s a solid positivity in this band’s music. It’s the chemistry of each instrument, transitions, and moments in the song where they just know when to stop playing, and when to play just the right notes to accompany the other instruments. Speaking of which, the organ solo at the end, was a heavenly piece that cleansed my mind. I mean, it’s just so darn clean and well-arranged!
The drum work, working alongside each instrument’s tempo and the transition is absolutely stellar. Overall, “Hello 2 You” is a fantastic jam to kick-start your day. Feeling gloomy? Give this track a listen, I bet it’ll cheer you right up!
