Hey Daddy by Mick J. Clark: Review
A story of the soul and rhythm going hand in hand to create beautiful music—such is the essence of master rocker Mick J. Clark and his song “Hey Daddy.” It’s a lovely anthem of the heart conveyed through epic guitar arrangements and an evocative singer. Altogether, it’s a cadence that draws you in from the very first note.
“Hey Daddy” is the type of track that makes you reflect, and eventually you’ll be able to relate to some of it, at least in my book. Because when Mick started singing and the guitars rolled out, something pondered upon me: I know this fella in the song; he’s probably me, he’s probably Mick, heck, it’s probably all of us. Thus, with such a humane element to the track, which is a specialty of the artist, we can embrace the melody. Aside from that, the song’s got a groove where the guitar sensationally directs the flow. The instrument’s chord structure was fantastic and sounded awesome when the basslines tagged along. Aside from that, halfway through the tune, a stellar blues solo arose and feelings of ecstasy followed.
Mick J. Clark is a musical storyteller who has always made a strong impression. The artist’s lyrics and enchanting compositions are all that you need to get through a tough time. In addition to that, his music is a love letter to fans of classic rock and pop. Thus, if you want to relive the good old days, “Hey Daddy” should be your number one pick.
