Just a Little Bit More Famous by Giack Bazz: Album Review
“Just a Little Bit More Famous” is a stunning indie rock/pop album by Giack Bazz. If you’re a fan of guitar melodies that imbue a sense of wonder and charm, along with vocal poetry, then this record is for you, fam.
The album opens up with a soft melody in “Through With Sick and Sacred Stuff.” It’s a lighthearted indie tune with piano keys, mellow guitars, and a chill singer at the mic. Next up is “Rant,” a track more on par with rock. A steady bassline and energetic guitars keep the tempo fresh, and a rambunctious poet keeps us hooked. “Indie Love Song” and “No Hard Feelings” are two emotional numbers with ambient guitar sections. Both are calming songs to hear and if you’re particularly feeling sad or lonely, they might have a more significant impact. Eventually, we reach the hype train of “Like & Share Machine.” It’s a lively piece that is non-stop rock with powerful riffs and beastly drumming. Ultimately, it’s the kind of music you wish to hear if you’re feeling extra rebellious and in the spirit of dancing uncontrollably. Everyone needs that once in a while, am I right?
Giack Bazz’s album was a refreshing take on the indie pop and rock genres, and I’m truly glad to have come across this passionate artist. It inspires me to witness such creative musicians making waves in the industry, and I envision a bright future for all of them.
