Honey Made drops energetic new song โUpstairsโ

The band, which is known for being silly and entertaining, poses the question that is always on everyoneโs mind when chasing their crush in the new song. Whatโs happening upstairs, which is code for โWhat are you thinking? Whatโs going on inside your head, dude?โ But by the songโs end, when the couple realizes they are interested in one another, the chorus changes to โSo, whatcha got going on upstairs?โ as they proceed to the bedroom as a couple.
Following the release of their debut album, Brand New, which was produced by Steve Berlin, comes the new song! The band has also released โAshy Pocketsโ and the Couple Few EP as they establish their reputation. In retrospect, they say, โThis single, โUpstairsโ, demonstrates the development of our songwriting as a band. We used to be more of a jam band that composed song lyrics. We learned how to concentrate on songwriting rather than showing off our skills on every song after working with Steve Berlin. Willie Barnes II, Chris Barnes, and Donald R. Ford Jr. wrote the new song, and Lee Braverman, Joseph Morrow, and Willie Barnes II composed it. They remark that โUpstairsโ is about experiences weโve all had. That frequently comes up in our songs. We talk about what we know and enjoy telling tales that highlight our shared humanity.โ
