Honey Trudge by Anfang: Review
Alternative rock band Anfang from Chicago has released a fantastic track called โHoney Trudgeโ. Angfang is Andie Zaragoza on the vocals, bass and rhythm guitar is played by Christian Newman and drums by Nick Rissler.
The songโs forward momentum is driven by Zaragozaโs excellent vocals, which manage to sound both raw and sophisticated at the same time. This song would appeal to any rock enthusiast due to its infectious chorus, which has smooth transitions and alluring melodies. The energetic nature of the music will immediately permeate your body and raise your blood pressure and pulse rate, but not in a medical emergency way. This song is the very definition of rock and roll; itโs fast-paced, enthusiastic, and full of life. Thereโs more to this tune than meets the ear, of course. The key is to fully commit yourself to it. With her simmering, seething tone and explosive volatility, Zaragozaโs vocal range adds another layer of unrestrained wrath to the song. The music, like its inspiration, is heavy and ponderous, with low, rumbling basslines, and to bore through this thick layer of noise, you will need a drill with a diamond tip.
If you are looking for a track to amp up your energy and get your blood pumping, then โHoney Trudgeโ enormously delivers on that. All around, Anfang has created a track with loads of hype to spare. It is next to impossible not to be energized by this hard-thumping cut.
