Hyperdrive by Trytone: Review

Trytone is an extraordinary trio of diverse musicians with a retro-synth-rock attitude blended in their music. Singer, Yaniv Illouz, keyboardist Danila “Mart” Martynov, and Nikolay “Niko” Marenkov specializing in a diversity of instruments all bring a unique sound to their new song ‘Hyperdrive’.
First of all, the entire song, starting from its deep and catchy bassline, then the vocals, and to the keyboard rhythm section pays homage to classic 80s rock and pop songs that are still relevant today. Also, in cohesion with the song’s structure arrives a thrilling guitar solo that almost feels like if the song was put in a movie, the guitar solo would play a killer sound into a climactic scene where the main character experiences pure action.
An interesting fact about the band is that they are partly based in Russia, while the lead singer hails from the United States of America, specifically the west coast.
Hyperdrive brings out an overall energetic sound. There is fulfillment when one hears a groovy bassline, especially one as good as this song. As the music nears the end the vibe and tempo slow down, and it finishes with a short but magical acoustic guitar solo that fits perfectly.
Since the song’s release in late December 2021, Hyperdrive was featured on UK Talk Radio! Now that’s a great way to share your sound with the world. Trytone also has other socials such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Bandcamp, among others. If I were you, I’d follow this band and see them live if they were performing near my hometown!
